    Olivier Giroud, a forward for AC Milan and France, is apparently open to the idea of moving to the United States, and a few MLS teams are reportedly interested in signing him.

    Olivier Giroud has just started his seventh season in English football despite rumors that he wanted to move back to France in the summer.

    The 36-year-old continues to score goals for Serie A club AC Milan, although his contract expires in the summer.

    France’s forward is allegedly considering going to the United States and has offers on the table.

    Taylor Twellman of ESPN reports that the former Chelsea striker has turned down the Italian club’s most recent offer while unnamed MLS teams reportedly circle.

    Reports in America claimed that Olivier Giroud is drawn to the MLS since a few clubs in the country’s top division are considering bringing him in.

    Although he claims that he would desire to play in a different league when he leaves San Siro, his next destination is not known yet.

    He scored four goals at the World Cup last month, making him France’s all-time leading scorer.

    The seasoned striker has spent nine years in the Premier League and seven clubs overall, making 610 appearances and scoring 246 goals.

    At the World Cup in Qatar, the French forward scored four goals, beating Thierry Henry’s previous record and becoming his country’s all-time leading scorer.

    The former Arsenal player signed a $1.2 million contract to join Milan in July 2021 from Chelsea. He scored 14 goals in 38 games across all competitions during his rookie season and has nine goals in 19 club matches this year.

    On Friday, Olivier Giroud returned to the Milanello training facility after his post-World Cup holiday, while the rest of the team traveled to Holland to play PSV in their final pre-Serie A friendly.

    Wednesday’s league opener for Stefano Pioli’s team is a road game against Salernitana. They are second in the standings, eight points below first-placed Napoli.
