Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo, could end up winning his second indivi\dual award at the Old Trafford after his strike against Norwich City in the FA Cup was nominated in the goal of the month for June.

Ighalo, who joined the Red Devils from the Chinese Super Lig side Shanghai Shenhua on a loan deal in January, helped United progressed to the last four of the competition when he scored his fifth Manchester United goal with a sublime effort in his 12th appearance for the club. The Ex-Nigeria international opened the goals account at Carrow Road when he volleyed home from close range, with goalkeeper Tim Krul having no chance to save the ball.

The Nigerian had a great time in the league during his first spell with the Hornets scoring 36 goals in 90 league appearances, and he also showed his consistency in front of goal for Chinese sides Changchun Yatai and Shanghai Shenhua which caught the attention of the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who brought him to the Old Trafford, which he has always dreamed of.

Ighalo, who is yet to score in the Premier League for the Red Devils will be hoping to do so against Bournemouth on Saturday. He is, however, yet to score in the league in his last seven matches for United despite getting close on several occasions.
