Swedish and Serie A legendary footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hailed Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic as the best in the game.
The football icon took to his Instagram page to share footage of Djokovic with the caption, “The best. Simple as that,” after the latter saw off Carlos Alcaraz to win the 2024 Olympics tennis Gold Medal.
Ibrahimovic’s accolades on Djokovic follows the long lane of friendship between the two sports stars. He has been spotted on several occasions with Djokovic.
Their most notable meetup was in 2013 when Ibrahimovic joined fans to watch Djokovic defeat arch-rival Roger Federer in the Paris Masters semifinals. He even took to the court to try his tennis skills with Djokovic to the thrill of fans.
