Liverpool was without it best player Sadio Mane for a few days due to the coronavirus infection and the team felt it, they lost woefully to Aston vila. Aston Villa scored 7 goals against Liverpool and Liverpool was only able to score 2 goals back.

It was a record setting match for both sides, Liverpool became the first defending champ to lose by that much goal difference and it’s safe to think that things would have been different if Sadio Mane hadn’t tested positive for Covid-19.

Mane is back with the team after testing negative on his resent coronavirus test and his team will need his service when Liverpool face Everton on October 17, 2020.

Everton is currently number one on the League table and they are undefeated in 4 matches, they are the best team in the league with 4 games played, 4 wins and 12 goals combined in 4 premier league matches.
