Nigeria fast-rising singer and songwriter, Mayorkun, has been spotted in Naples with his countryman and Napoli star Victor Osimhen.
The ‘Eleko’ crooner shared beautiful moments with the Serie A top scorer, including a video of one of his Napoli goals in the Serie A.
He wrote, “my first time in Naples and Victor Osimhen made sure I had a good time…Big love my brother. Keep smashing in those goals.”
In recent months, Mayorkun is among top Nigerian celebrities that have hanged out with Victor Osimhen, who is having a great season with Serie A giants, Napoli.
In March 2023, Osimhen was seen in a viral video spending time in the mansion of one of the biggest names in the Nigerian music and entertainment industry, P-Square. He was seen signing Napoli’s shirt for Peter of P-Square.
Most recently, Peter Okoye, a member of the P-Square musical duo, joined popular Nigeria socialite and entertainment entrepreneur, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Chief Priest, to pay a visit to Victor Osimhen.
The duo prayed for the high-flying Napoli forward, urging him to end Napoli’s 33-year wait for the Serie A trophy while also encouraging him to continue in his standout performances for Napoli so far.
Osimhen thanked them for the visit and promised to return the favor with a planned visit soon.
Who is Mayorkun?
Born on 23 March1994, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, 29, popularly known by his stage name, Mayorkun, is a Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter.
Mayorkun started his music career in 2016 and has been active till date. He was discovered by another popular Nigerian and award-winning singer, Davido, when he did a cover for Davido’s ‘Money’ on Twitter.
He was signed by Davido that same year, joining the latter’s DMW record label. Mayorkun released his first single, “Eleko” under Davido’s DMW record.
His first studio album was released in 2018, titled ‘The Major of Lagos.’ In 2021, the fast-rising Nigerian singer left DMW record label and released ‘Let me know.’
Mayorkun’s second studio album, ‘Back in office,’ was released in 2021 under his new record label Sony Music West Africa.
Personal Life
Mayorkun was born and raised in Osun State in Southwestern Nigeria.
The 29-year-old music artist admitted to have learnt the rudiments of music at a very tender age while he used to sing in his church choir.
In spite of his initial fervor for music, Mayorkun later pursued an academic career before reverting to his music calling.
He is a graduate of Accounting from a Nigerian University, University of Lagos, and had worked in a bank before he returned to his music career in 2016.
Since he started his music career, the Nigerian hip hop artist has bagged several awards and honours. He has won the Headies award for the most promising young talent and Nigeria Entertainment Award for best artist of the year, and other awards.

Mayorkun relationship and net worth
In April 2023, Mayorkun confirmed he is into a relationship with Cocaina, a UK influencer and dancer. The pair have been spotted together on several occasions since 2022 before the singer finally broke silence on the status of his relationship with Cocaina last month.
Both are yet to be married and have no kids together and have just started dating recently.
As of 2023, Mayorkun’s net worth is estimated at $5m.
