N’Golo Kanté is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Al Ittihad in Saudi Pro League. He is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, and is known for his tireless work ethic, tactical intelligence, and ball-winning abilities.
Kante began his career at the age of eight, playing for the JS Suresnes youth team in the Paris suburbs. He later joined the youth academy of Boulogne, where he made his professional debut in 2012. After that he joined Ligue 2 side Caen on a free transfer, finished third and won promotion to Ligue 1.
In 2015, Kante joined Leicester City for a fee of £5.6 million. He played a key role in the club’s surprise Premier League title win in 2015–16, and was named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year.
