According to some Spanish reports, Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian star player Neymar Jr won’t leave the French club without a fight. Neymar’s father, Neymar Santos Sr wants PSG to pay his son every dime left in his contract with the French side before the player exit the club this summer.

Recall that Neymar made it known a few days ago that he’s open to leaving the Ligue 1 champions because he doesn’t feel loved again. Neymar’s claims came after Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi commented on his future.

In the same vein, Neymar’s father has told Paris Saint-Germain executives that his son would leave the French side after the club pays his son around €200 million which is the salary left in the player’s current contract with PSG.

According to the French Foot Mercato network, PSG are ready to release the 30-year-old this summer and will also pay part of his wages in a loan deal. Meanwhile, team and Chelsea player Thiago Silva has urged him to join Chelsea amid transfer rumors.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s comment about Neymar shows that they might not need his services next season and the Brazilian is ready to leave the club.

In response to the uncertain future of the player at PSG, Thiago Silva, Neymar’s teammate in the Brazil national team and former teammate at PSG, urged the former FC Barcelona winger to join him at Chelsea this summer.

“He has to go to Chelsea,” Silva said. “If it happens, it will be for the best. Nothing else needs to be said. So far, I don’t know anything, but I hope it comes to fruition.”

Chelsea had wanted to sign the Brazilian in 2010 when he was still a young star at Brazilian club Santos. But the club publicly rejected Chelsea’s bid and announced that Neymar was going to sign a new contract with them.

However, he later joined Barcelona where he established himself as a top player but had to leave for Paris Saint-Germain to stay out of Lionel Messi’s shadow.

His switch to Paris Saint-Germain made him the most expensive player in the world of football. Neymar’s first season with PSG was impressive as he finished with 28 goals in 30 games but his form keeps dropping since then.

The arrival of France wonder kid Kylian Mbappe from AS Monaco seem to have gotten the Brazilian into another shadow in Paris. Mbappe is now considered the top player on the team and he keeps winning individual awards ahead of the Brazilian star.

The 23-year-old recent contract renewal has brought a lot of controversies and rumors about him being in charge of affairs in Paris Saint-Germain. However, he has denied the claims by saying that PSG is bigger than him.
