Paris Saint Germain star Neymar junior flaunts his son David Lucca on his Instagram page with over 147 million followers riding a white horse on a ranch at an unknown destination.

This is one of his most recent activities on the internet since February 10 when he had to limp off in the French Cup round of 64 match against Caen. After the match which ended 1-0 in favor of PSG, Neymar has not played any competitive match due to the injury.

It is not known where the Brazil international is recuperating from the injury even as he decided to share pictures of his son who was said to be based in Brazil.

Neymar became the father of Davi Lucca on 13 August 2011. The 10-year-old boy is a product of the footballer’s broken relationship with Carolina Dantas. Ever since the relationship broke down, the 29-year-old Brazilian football icon is not known to be in any serious relationship.

Despite looking like the football star is not in any serious relationship, Neymar has recently said he would not stop partying. Hence, whether he is in a relationship or not, partying might continue to be a distraction he will always enjoy.

Besides partying, another strong aspect of Neymar that has affected his football career to a very large extent is being injured incessantly. He is currently recovering from a three weeks old injury which is the second major injury he has suffered this season.

Due to the injury, the Brazilian winger missed PSG’s first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 match against FC Barcelona on February 16. Even though he wasn’t present in the match, Kylian Mbappe was enough to earn Barcelona a 1-4 defeat at Camp Nou.

Based on speculations, PSG’s medical team are said to be working hard to ensure that he returns to match fitness before the return leg of the tie in Paris on March 10, 2021.

Ahead of PSG’s league match against Dijon on Saturday, February 27, the coach of PSG, Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that the Brazilian winger was making progress in his recovery process.

“Ney continues to follow the plan established by the medical staff,” Pochettino said. “He is in a good emotional state, he is on schedule for his recovery.”

Despite the absence of Neymar and other superstars at PSG like Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Alessandro Florenzi, Marco Verratti, and Mauro Icardi, PSG still went on to beat Dijon 0-4 away from home.

The win has left PSG on the second spot on the French Ligue 1 table with 57 points in 27 games, a point behind first-placed Lille.

In the 61 goals PSG has scored in the league so far this season, Neymar has contributed 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 11 league matches.
