PSG superstar Neymar Jr. has infuriated his Paris neighbors after throwing a house party to celebrate his 31st birthday.
The Brazilian who turns 31 last Sunday, February 5 has incurred the wrath of his Paris neighbors and forced the mayor of Bougival to intervene after holding a wild bash at his residence on his birthday last weekend.
According to the French paper Le Parisien, the PSG star has been throwing house parties that have annoyed his neighbors before the latest disturbance.
After this year’s birthday bash, Neymar shared a picture from the party where he was blowing out candles on his birthday cake while his son, Davi Lucca, was standing in front of him with a big smile.
Meanwhile, Neymar has not been at his best for Parisians since he returned from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Brazilian playmaker has only two goals contribution in Ligue 1 matches, which is not reminiscent of his renowned excellent form in the first half of the season as he struggles for fitness.
However, that did not stop the PSG star from celebrating his birthday in a great style last week as he partied throughout the day at his five-story residential villa.
The wild birthday bash is said to have started at three in the afternoon till the short of midnight, with the hullabaloo provoking neighbors to even call the police.
Due to the “prodigiously annoying” noise, the mayor of Bougival, Luc Wattelle had to intervene as the loud late-night party did not go down well with the Brazilian’s neighbors.
The Bougival mayor branded the Brazilian football maestro, Neymar as a ‘disrespectful individual’ following his noncompliance against incessant public disturbance.
Neymar is also claimed to have sealed the Paris Saint-Germain Ligue 1 title triumph last year with a wild celebration as he threw a night party that didn’t finish until 5 am.
Luc Wattelle implied that Neymar remains unbothered despite being fined several times for public disturbance and causing inconvenience to his neighbors.
The mayor also announced that this time, he is considering taking bigger action against the Brazilian star and father of David Lucca for his troubles since the meager fines have no effect.
Luc Wattelle told Le Parisien: “We can verbalize, but what do you do in the face of someone who does not care to pay a fine of €135 given what he earns? At some point, we will send a file to the prosecutor for repeated disturbance to public order.”
The mayor is also believed to have informed Neymar’s landlord about the issue to resolve the matter.
And the landlord, as reported has subsequently claimed that he would speak to the footballer’s father Neymar Sr. to call his son to order.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Brazilian played the full 90 minutes this weekend as PSG lost 3-1 to Monaco.
The loss is the Parisian’s second straight defeat, being the first time they have recorded back-to-back losses under the PSG coach, Christophe Galtier.
Amidst injuries and illness that have hit the French Giants’ squad, the club’s fans will hope to see the Parisians recover from their scars as they face fierce rival Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash on Tuesday, February 14.
