The New York Red Bulls have completed the loan signing of midfielder Felipe Carballo from Grêmio for a fee of €455,000.
Carballo is the only signing made by the Red Bulls this summer and they confirmed his acquisition via a statement shared on the club’s website which read:
“The New York Red Bulls have added Uruguayan international Felipe Carballo from Gremio on a one-year loan with an option to purchase pending the receipt of his P-1 visa, the deal was completed before the close of MLS Secondary Transfer Window, the club announced today.”
Felipe Carballo’s loan deal with the New York Red Bulls expires in June 2025, and his performances will result in either the franchise permanently signing him or letting go of him.
The Uruguayan international joined Gremio from Club Nacional in January 2023, for a fee of €3.7 million.
