Napoli have submitted a £30 million bid for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku as the West London team plans to reduce the number of unwanted players at the club.

According to SkySports, it was revealed that the offer was a loan deal with an obligation to buy for £30 million.

Lukaku is Antonio Conte’s target man as the striker for Napoli, with Victor Osimhen finding every possible means of leaving the club before the end of the transfer window.

The Belgium all-time highest goal scorer has been frozen from the Chelsea squad. He has been forced to train with the club Under-21.

Lukaku is expected to leave Chelsea after spending two seasons on loan in the Serie A with Inter Milan and AS Roma.

The Chelsea striker has made 647 appearances, scoring 309 goals and creating 90 assists in all club competitions. He had received 51 yellow cards and three red cards so far in his career.

The Belgian striker started his club career at Rupel Boom at the age of five. He went ahead to join Belgium side Lierse.

On May 13, 2009, the striker moved from Lierse to Anderlecht. On August 11, 2011, Lukaku moved to England to join Chelsea football club for a fee worth £10 million.

After failing to get enough playing time at Chelsea, he was loaned to West Brom on August 10, 2012.

On August 30, 2013, he joined Everton on loan from Chelsea. However, in July 2014, Lukaku joined Everton for a club-record fee of £28 million.
