Speaking after Napoli’s Serie A title win, Aurelio De Laurentiis dealt a big blow to interests milling around the player, saying he will not let Osimhen leave in the summer.

“I will not sell Victor Osimhen this summer. No way!” De Laurentiis confirmed to Cinque Minut.

Victor Osimhen still has two years remaining in his contract with Napoli and there are speculations the 24-year-old could cost as much as £100m to £150m should Napoli decide to let him leave at the end of the season.

Victor Osimhen was the talisman in Napoli’s Serie A title-winning run. He is Serie A highest scorer with 22 goals and is eyeing the golden boot award as the Italy topflight wraps up the season with five games remaining.
