Antonio Conte has reportedly held talks with Napoli over the possibility of becoming the club’s next manager.
Conte had a long, direct discussion with the Neapolitans on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, these discussions were not positive as Antonio Conte has opted to continue waiting for new opportunities.

Reports indicate that Aurelio De Laurentiis discussed directly with the former Chelsea manager over that managerial position at the club, but no agreement was made.
Conte supposedly prefers to wait before agreeing to a new job. The Italian last managed Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
Antonio Conte was dismissed on March 26, 2023, for his utterances in a presser following Spurs 3-3 draw with Southampton on March 18, 2023.
The 54-year-old was manager of Tottenham Hotspur between November 2, 2021 and March 26, 2023.
He has massive experience in the Serie A, having previously managed clubs like; Juventus, Atalanta, and Inter Milan.
Conte’s last job in the Italian top-flight division was with Inter Milan, and he led the club to the league title in the 2020/21 season.
He also won 3 consecutive league titles with Juventus from the 2011/12 to the 2013/14 season.
The Italian is a seasoned manager, who has also won several trophies across the European continent.
Antonio Conte won the 2016/17 Premier League title with Chelsea, and he guided the club to the FA Cup title in the following campaign, the 2017/18 season.
