Sassuolo’s central midfielder, Davide Frattesi experienced a very awkward week when his naked selfie appeared on his Instagram story recently.
In the picture that went viral in Italy this week, the 22-year-old Italian midfielder was seen taking a naked selfie of himself in front of a gigantic mirror.
Luckily for him, the naked selfie was censored to avoid it being too explicit but it was obvious that Davide Frattesi took the selfie when he was completely naked.
After the selfie went viral, the 22-year-old Italian midfielder attempted to apologize for the leaked naked selfie. He took to his Instagram page to claim that his phone was hacked according to Football Italia.
Davide Frattesi’s statement read:
“Sorry guys, but someone has somehow hacked my phone and this photograph was published… I’m sorry!”
He however deleted the post almost immediately and didn’t say why he deleted it. Since then, nothing was heard from the footballer at the time of publishing this report.
Who is Davide Frattesi before his leaked Naked Selfie?
Davide Frattesi was born in Rome, Italy on September 22, 1999. He started his football career at Lazio Youth and went on to groom his football talent at AS Roma Youth team between 2015 and 2016.
Frattesi signed his first professional football contract when he joined Sassuolo on July 13, 2017, for a transfer fee worth €5 million. Since then, he has gone on loan at Ascoli, Empoli, and Monza.
The 1.84-meter tall Italian midfielder returned to Sassuolo ahead of the 2021-2022 season and was able to break into the first team of the Italian club. He is expected to pick up from where he stopped last season when the coming season kicks off in August.
