Before Kane and Son, two Chelsea legends Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba used to be the best partnership on the pitch in the Premier League. But after Heung-Min Son assisted Harry Kane to score in Tottenham’s 3-2 win over Manchester City on Saturday, the due equaled Lampard and Drogba’s combined goalscoring record.

Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have the most goal combinations in the Premier League history. A record they share with Chelsea’s legends, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard.
Since 2015 that Kane and Son have been playing together at Tottenham Hotspur, they have combined to score a whopping 36 goals in the Premier League. This means that both Son and Kane have assisted each other to score a combined 36 goals.
While reacting to their effective partnership, Son said: “We’ve been waiting for long, isn’t it!
“This is a great record, I mean, this is historical. I didn’t do many things, this guy [Kane], sometimes I just cross the ball and he’s inside the box finishing so well.
“So we are glad to have this record and I hope many more to come as well.”
While Kane said: “We had a lot of preparation obviously. We connect really well and have a great understanding off the pitch.
“I can’t wait to watch it back in the video room tomorrow.”

For over seven years, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard own the record for the most goal combinations in the Premier League history. Before the two football icons went their separate ways, the two footballers have combined to score 36 goals for Chelsea.
Unlike Son and Kane that are yet to win anything with their synergy in front of goals, Lampard and Drogba’s partnership in the Premier League helped Chelsea to win four Premier League titles.
- Thierry Henry and Robert Pires – 29 goals
Thierry Henry and Robert Pires used to be the best partners on the pitch in the Premier League between 2000 and 2006 when the two football legends were playing at Arsenal.
Their partnership produced a combined 29 goals which helped Arsenal win two Premier League titles including the invincible league title.
- David Silva and Sergio Aguero – 29
David Silva and Sergio Aguero equaled Thierry Henry and Robert Pires’s combined goal contributions. The two Manchester City legends enjoyed an untouchable partnership at Manchester City between 2011 and 2020.

Teddy Sheringham and Darren Anderton used to have the record for the most goal combinations in Premier League history. The two football legends played together at Tottenham Hotspur between 1992 and 2004. During that period, they combined to score 27 goals for Spurs.
Unfortunately for the two legends, their partnership could not win any Premier League title for Spurs until they both went their separate ways.
