Liverpool star, Mohammed Salah no doubt a memorable day on his birthday after getting a plethora of well wish messages from his club fellow professionals and fans.
The Egyptian internal reciprocated the gesture by taking to his Instagram page to express appreciation to all that sent him congratulatory messages.
“Thanks, everyone for your birthday wishes,” he wrote on his Instagram page smiling while holding a chocolate cake.
Salah has been known to be one of the most humble footballers who lives a simple life wherever he finds himself. The forward was recently in the news when he entered a filling station in Liverpool and paid for everyone’s fuel. What an act of generosity.
Mo Salah’s rise to stardom
Salah eventually became one of the best players currently playing the game despite being a peripheral figure at the Stamford Bridge after moving to Chelsea from Basel. He couldn’t secure a first-team shirt under former coach Jose Mourinho.
Due to lack of first-team action, in his debut season, he was loaned out to Serie A clubs Fiorentina and Roma. The Gialorrosi eventually signed him permanently for €15 million. After helping Roma finished second, the club also set a record of highest points-tally in 2017. This caught the attention of UEF Champions League defending champions, Liverpool and Salah returned to the Premier League for a then club-record fee of £36.9 million.
Now matured in his second spell in England, Salah adapted from a natural winger to a forward, and went ahead to break the Premier League scoring record for a 38-game season and subsequently received the Premier League Golden Boot after netting 32 goals in 36 league games.
He was also rewarded with the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and came third in the 2018 Best FIFA Men’s Player award.
Last season he finished shared the Premier League golden bot award with Arsenals Pierre-Emerick Aubumeyang ] and helped Liverpool to their 6th UEFA Champions League title.
He is about to win the Premier title with the Reds as the club needs just two wins from the remaining ten games to win their maiden Premier League trophy that ha elided them for over 30 years.

At the international level, Salah has also helped the team reach the final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. The blessing forward was also top scorer during CAF qualification to help the team qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Other individual honours for Salah include CAF African Footballer of the Year (2017 and 2018), BBC African Footballer of the Year (2017 and 2018), and the Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament and CAF Team of the Year.
