FC Barcelona are reportedly ready to do all they could to secure the services of Liverpool talisman, Mohamed Salah before the end of the 2021-2022 season.
The 29-year-old Egyptian right-winger has less than two seasons left on his contract with Liverpool. The club has been pushing to renew his contract but the talks have been dragging since last summer.
One of the reasons for this is that Mohamed Salah is reportedly demanding to be paid nothing less than £500,000-per-week. But the Premier League club has been trying to convince the Egyptian star to reduce his demands.
Despite the financial demands of Mohamed Salah, the club, especially the club’s coach, Jurgen Klopp who has made the Egyptian one of the most important players in his squad does not want him to go.
Recall that Mohamed Salah has been the most consistent player not just at Liverpool but also in the entire Premier League. His consistency this season has made him one of the best and most talked about players in Europe.
So far this season, Salah has played 15 times for Liverpool. In those 15 games, the Egyptian footballer has scored 15 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions.

His effort has made him a top target for top European clubs especially FC Barcelona. The Spanish giants that just appointed Xavi Hernández this month are said to be ready to make an offer for his services.

A report by a Catalan publication, El Nacional claimed that Xavi is personally interested in the 29-year-old winger. The Spanish tactician might attempt to build his new team around the Egyptian football star.
Despite how desperate FC Barcelona are reportedly seeking the services of Mohamed Salah, it might be difficult for the deal to scale through due to the financial difficulties at the club.
Recall that FC Barcelona had to part ways with their former talisman, Lionel Messi due to the financial crisis the club has been battling with. But that might not deter Xavi from his quest to bring the Egyptian talisman to Barcelona.
However, at the time of publishing this report, FC Barcelona were yet to make an official statement concerning their reported interest in Salah.
Meanwhile, FC Barcelona are reportedly monitoring the future of Chelsea and Spain’s full-back, Cesar Azpilicueta.

The 32-year-old Chelsea captain has less than 8 months left on his current contract with the London-based club. Due to the financial difficulties Barca have been battling with, the Spanish club is set to wait until June 30, 2022, to sign the defender on a free transfer.
In the same vein, Barcelona are said to be interested in signing Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling on loan in January.

However, the loan deal between the 26-year-old England international and Barca might be difficult to scale through because of the player’s wages.
Sterling reportedly earns £300,000-per-week at Manchester City which might be difficult for Barcelona to pay if the loan deal scale through.

For salah to leave Liverpool will be a Herculean task. Remember Lionel Messi, what he’s being through at PGS and l hope salah will not like to go through that.
Go hard ooo for salah to leave Liverpool ooo, but anything is possible in football, Are the ready to pay his buy out Clause
I believe this is a rumour because Barcelona don’t have the financial power to pull this this deal off, don’t forget this same Barcelona were unable to renew the contract of one of their greatest player due to financial constraints.Even if Barcelona are now financially bouyant,I will advise Salah to stay at Liverpool where he is one of their most important and valuable player,he should learn from the mistake of players like Coutinho,Song,Turan,Griezeman, Hazard, and the likes who left their club where they are valued and adored to Spanish Giants only for them to end up being a mediocre player. He should stay at Liverpool and become another legend,he should learn from players like Gerard,Carragher,Lampard,Drogba and the likes who end up being a legend where they are valued.
Barcelona to sign Mo sallah, would be a plus to the team, but let’s check Barcelona’s financial capacity, can they pull this deal, how many players will they have to let go to get the funds?? Now even if they get the funds , let’s see from Mo sallah’s angle, would he be willing to leave a club where he’s loved, respected, and adored by all and the fans and don’t forget Liverpool’s currently doing better than Barcelona in everything, league standing, champions league and team performance.
My conclusion is Mo sallah can only be willing to go to Barcelona if he wishes, With all I’ve mentioned, Barcelona cannot afford to sign him nor make him sign else he wants.
Thank you
