    Mo Salah ‘s default setting is to smash records, with one apparently tumbling every time he steps onto the pitch, and Wednesday was no exception as he broke Didier Drogba’s Record.

    Liverpool’s No. 11 started the season strongly, to the point where he is currently regarded as the finest player in the world.

    Salah has only been held scoreless once in the Premier League this season, against Burnley, but he has been unstoppable in terms of goal contributions since then.

    This season, Mohamed Salah has shown no signs of slowing down for Liverpool.

    The 29-year-old has been the driving force behind his team’s performance against Leeds this evening, scoring twice from the penalty spot and assisting on a third.

    As a result, Salah has become the first Premier League player in England to reach double digits in goals and assists this season.It’s the third time in his career that he’s done so.

    To make matters even better, he has equaled Didier Drogba’s Premier League record for most goal contributions by an African player.

    With 159 goals and assist in 254 Premier League appearances, Drogba held the record, but Mo Salah has now surpassed his former Chelsea teammate with 160 goals and assist in 72 less outings.

    Salah now ranks first among the most prolific African players to play in the Premier League, raising the issue of how far he can go.

    Mo Salah scores more goals for Liverpool

    Liverpool Trash Leeds United 6-0 to close the deficit on Manchester City to six points, Mo Salah scored his 152th Liverpool goal, with Sadio Mane scoring a brace, Matip and Van Dijk also on target.

    He has 152 goals in his 234 games since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017.

    He has now surpassed former Liverpool player Harry Chambers, who has 151 goals, into the top ten goal scorers in the club’s history.
