Former LA Galaxy youngster and USA youth player Mathis Albert is set for a new challenge in German football away from the MLS. The 15-year-old has reportedly completed a move from LA Galaxy to Borussia Dortmund.
While details of the deal between Borussia Dortmund and LA Galaxy remain sketchy, it has been confirmed the young footballer has signed a three-year contract with Borussia Dortmund and will play in the club’s U-17s.

Mathis Albert is a fast-rising USA soccer star, who played for LA Galaxy Academy but is now set for a new chapter with German club, Borussia Dortmund.
The 2009-born talent has yet to taste senior club career football and is hoping to build on his gains with LA Galaxy youth as he seals a move to Borussia Dortmund.
He has reportedly signed a three-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit and has been assigned to the club’s U-17s, where he is expected to learn the cuts and thrusts of professional football.
While still in the nascent stages of his career, Mathis Albert is already making headway on the international scene. He was called up for USA U-15s in 2023 and had made three appearances for the team, scoring one goal.
The young winger is currently active with USA U-16s and has scored two goals in two appearances since making his debut on May 27, 2024.

Viktoria Pizen rejects multiple bids for Pavel Sulc
Czechian club, Viktoria Pizen, have reportedly rejected multiple bids from MLS club, Real Salt Lake, for their attacking midfielder, Pavel Sulc.
Sources close to the MLS outfit reveal Pavel is being targeted by the club for their Development Squad following his impressive campaigns. Viktoria Plzen is reportedly committed to keeping the player despite his bit-part role at the club.
Pavel Sulc has spent his last four years as a Viktoria Pizen player on loan to other clubs, where he has been impressive.

Pavel Sulc is a Czech Republic international, currently playing for Czech club Viktoria Pizen, but attracting interest from MLS club Real Salt Lake.
The 2000-born soccer star plays as an attacking midfielder for the Czech senior national team and Viktoria Pizen. There are no records of the early roots of his career.
He is currently a first-team player with Viktoria Pizen. The attacking midfielder made his senior debut with Viktoria Pizen in 2017.
Despite still being contracted to the club, Pave Sulc has spent his last four seasons with Viktoria Pizen on loans. In 2019, he was loaned to Vysočina Jihlava and Opava – both clubs playing in the Czech Republic’s second tier.
In 2020, he was loaned again to another Czech side České Budějovice and Jablonec in the 2022-23 season.

Sulc has made 80 league appearances for Viktoria Plzen, scoring 22 goals. Throughout his loan spells with the different clubs, he has made 78 appearances, scoring 11 goals.
Despite his bit-part role with Viktoria Pizen, he boasts a largely successful international career with Czech Republic national teams. Sulc played for Czech youth teams – from U-18s to U-21s – before making his senior national team debut in 2021 and has been capped 4 times since then.
