The club confirmed the acquisition of the 23-year-old via a statement shared on the club’s website which read:
“Minnesota United announced today that the club has signed defender Jefferson Diaz from Deportivo Cali of Colombia’s Categoría Primera A to a three-year deal, with a club option for 2028.”
The MLS club also shared that Jefferson Diaz “will occupy an international roster spot pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and ITC.”
Diaz becomes the club’s third signing this summer, having already acquired Kevin Yeboah and Samuel Shashoua.
