MLS giant Minnesota United have announced the signing of Ghanaian-Italian striker Kelvin Yeboah on a three-and-a-half-year contract, with an option to extend the deal until 2028.
Kelvin Yeboah is the fifth signing of Minnesota United this season. Minnesota United have completed the signing of Samuel Shashoua, Ethan Bristow, Mikael Marques, and Derek Dodson.
Upon the completion of the deal, Kelvin Yeboah revealed the ambitions he has for moving to Major League Soccer.
He said, “The most important thing is always the project, from the soccer staff to my teammates all the way up to ownership, and I loved the way the team and the club have been presented to me. Everyone here has ambitions to win, and that’s what I want to be a part of.”
He continued, “I will bring a mentality to never give up and always give my best. Fans will see me on the field playing with passion, screaming, and giving my all. My mentality, mixed with my speed, strength, and technical ability, will help me succeed here in Minnesota.”

The 24-year-old striker joined Minnesota United from Genoa in the Italian Serie A. Before joining the American side, Yeboah was initially loaned to Belgian side Standard Liege in February 2024.
During his playing time at Standard Liege, the player scored six goals in 14 appearances. Before joining Standard Liege, he was loaned out twice to Augsburg in 2023 and French side Montpellier.
He has represented the Italy national U21 team. Kelvin Yeboah proceeded to make four appearances for Italy U-21 in the European U21 Championship qualifiers.
