Mesut Ozil has been frozen out of Arsenal

Since he has been frozen out of the team, Mesut Ozil looked ready to fulfill his promise by supporting the team all through so far he is still an Arsenal player.

Ozil, who recently in a statement stated that Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal hierarchy are not allowing him to play for the club he loves showed the Gunners love during their encounter with Rapid Vienna, which the Gunners eventually come from behind to win.

The hosts punished Brand Leno for his mistake to to score the opener through Greek striker, Taxiarchis Fountas after a tight first half in which chances were few and far between. The striker intercepted the goalkeeper’s attempted pass and then fired home from a tight angle.

Arteta excluded Ozil from his team list for this season

Another error by Leno almost gifted the Vienna based club a two-goal lead. Leno’s clearance went straight at Fountas, but he was able to recover and parry the striker’s effort.

As a source of encouragement to his fellow German, Ozil told his fellow countryman to chin-up as there is more time to make up for the mistake.

David Luis and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came to Arsenal’s rescue

Ozil’s belief in the team finally paid off when David Luis rose highest to nod in Nicolas Pepe’s free-kick, restoring parity.

His excitement knows no bound after good works from substitutes, Hector Bellerin and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang partnered to score the winning goal for the Gunners. The skipper secured the win when he tapped in from Bellerin’s excellent assist.

Excited that Arsenal got the three points in the bag, Ozil created a poll on his page for his fans to choose their man of the match between Aubameyang, Luiz, Mohammed Elneny, and debutant Thomas Partey.

From one of the world best midfielders to Twitter admin

One would wonder what Ozil has now turn to after being omitted from the playing sqaud for the season.

Ozil, who is the highest-paid player in Arsenal’s history was on his phone while he should be on the pitch, creating chances and even score when he gets the chance to.

It’s rather unfortunate how his future has been decided at Arsenal. The German playmaker has just a single option of playing for the under 23 in order to still at least get match sharpness and look for a new club probably in January or wait to run down his contract, having been determined to continue to fight for his place in the team.
