The Dutchman who only joined the Catalan giants last summer, has just one year left on his current contract and is drawing interest from the Premier League, including Spurs and Arsenal, the north London rivals.

Even though Depay, 28, scored 12 league goals in 28 appearances for Barcelona last season, SPORT reports that Depay is “on the transfer market” and that his minutes at the Nou Camp are not guaranteed for the upcoming campaign.

In an effort to reverse Barcelona’s recent bad luck, manager Xavi has already warned a number of his players that they are free to leave the club.

Depay might stay at the club if no respectable offers are received because the coaching staff allegedly likes him and doesn’t want to sell him for a low price.

But according to reports, Barça will be willing to accept a deal for Depay, who wants to play in the Champions League, in the range of £17 million.

Tottenham and Barcelona have already spoken about moving Clement Lenglet on loan, and it looks like they will talk about Depay as well.

Despite buying Richarlison from Everton, Antonio Conte’s team is aiming to further improve their attack, and Depay may match the flexible pattern the Italian coach has been operating at the North London club.

Depay may find it difficult to get playing time at Tottenham given the presence of attackers like Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, and Richarlison on the team. However, Depay is in an awkward situation given that Barcelona are also willing to let him leave.

Arsenal are reportedly interested, although negotiations for any potential trade have made very little to no progress.

Barcelona have also been connected with a bid for Leeds winger Raphinha, and with Ousmane Dembele probably staying put, the Spanish team could sell Depay rather than risk losing him for nothing in the upcoming summer.

Barcelona are also interested in Bayern Munich’s hitman Robert Lewandowski after he revealed that his time at the club is over. The Spanish giants have already submitted an offer that got rejected but are still pushing to land the Poland’s captain this summer.

A move for Robert Lewandowski this summer will mean an end to his eight years stay at the club.

Meanwhile, Memphis Depay went to his hometown in Ghana during this summer vacation. The Netherlands international was captured playing football with some Ghanaian men.
