Paris Saint-Germain ace Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told PSG he wants to leave and has put Premier League clubs on alert with a potential move.

The Times report that the World Cup winner is is set to push for a transfer away from the French capital next season, as he eyes a move to the English Premier League or Spanish LaLiga.

After Mbappe secures a record £165million move to the Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco in 2018, he penned a lucrative five-year deal.

His current contract is therefore not due until 2022, but should he force a move away, the Ligue 1 champions will have to sell him next year or risk losing him on a free transfer.

The Times also reports that both Manchester United and Liverpool would fancy the chances of adding the 23-year-old to their books.

Mbappe himself had once revealed his admiration for Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool performances in the Premier League.

“What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing,” the PSG star said in January. “They’re like a machine, they’ve found a rhythm and are like ‘we play again, we play again’.

“When you watch you think everything’s easy, but that’s not easy. The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.”

Later, in another interview, Mbappe said: “Performances like they have been having don’t just happen. To be as ruthless as they have been would come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager.”

Spanish giants, Real Madrid — who saw their offer rejected for Mbappe when he was still at Monaco — and Barcelona, have also been linked with the PSG man.

PSG are, however, desperate to keep their star player who has scored over 70 goals in 102 appearances since his arrival at the French capital.
