Icardi controversial marriage with Wanda Nara
Icardi’s marriage to Wanda Nara sparked intense controversy and animosity in Argentina, with the footballer becoming a target of rumors and unsubstantiated claims in the tabloids.
Meanwhile, this widespread hatred has played a role in Icardi being excluded from the national team, with even potential calls to the squad being heavily criticized by prominent figures like Diego Maradona.
However, the tension surrounding their relationship was on full display during a Serie A match between Sampdoria and Inter, when Nara’s ex-husband Maxi Lopez refused to shake Icardi’s hand, leading to the match being dubbed the “Wanda derby”.
This feud continued two years later when Lopez once again snubbed Icardi during a match against Torino.
As it stands, the media personality Wanda Nara has called her marriage with Icardi a quit for the second time, and there‘s no report on whether they are back together.
