AS Roma have completed the signing of German defender Mats Hummels on a free transfer, according to reports.

Reports indicate that an agreement has been reached regarding every detail of his contract with the Giallorossi.

Hummels is reportedly in Italy to pen a one-year deal with Roma, which will expire in the summer of 2025.

Mats Hummels will earn around €2 million per year with the inclusion of add-ons and he will become the 11th signing made by the Rome-based club this summer.

AS Roma have already signed Artem Dovbyk, Matías Soulé, Enzo Le Fée, Angeliño, Samuel Dahl, and Saud Abdulhamid.

The Giallorossi have also secured the services of Mathew Ryan and Mario Hermoso on a free transfer, while Alexis Saelemaekers and Manu Koné have joined the club on loan.
