Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has been sidelined after recently returning from his lengthy injury layoff.

The England international unfortunately makes the list of Manchester United’s recent injury blow that has depleted the squad ahead of the Coventry match.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Willy Kambwala has also been added to Man United’s injury list further complicating the crisis at the back for Erik ten Hag.
Kambwala and Mount will miss the FA Cup semifinal, and it is still unclear when they will return to action with the club.
Manchester United’s injury crisis this season
Manchester United are the worst-hit Premier League club this season with most injuries. According to Transfermarkt, United have suffered 60 cases of injury this season with all members of the squad sidelined at least once except Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes
The club’s defence department has been the worst hit with Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, and Johnny Evans, all sidelined.
Harry Maguire is the only fit Man United center-back available for the Coventry match, and there are suggestions Erik ten Hag will be compelled to improvise for another center-back to pair with Maguire.
Casemiro, who also returned from the sidelines recently, is said to be a likely option for Ten Hag to partner with Harry Maguire.
Also in the line to contest for a starting role at the back in the Coventry match is Jack Kingdon, who recently earned his promotion to United’s first team due to the spate of injuries.
