Manchester United’s new defender and former Lille star Leny Yoro is ready for a new chapter with United in the Premier League.
According to reports, the 18-year-old has reportedly purchased a £2m property in Cheshire, formerly owned by Manchester United Academy graduate Mason Greenwood.
Greenwood, who completed a move to French club, Olympique Marseille, put up the £2m-worth property for sale long before he agreed terms with the Ligue 1 side for a move to the French top flight.
Greenwood’s decision to sell the property became imperative after it was clear he will not continue his career with Manchester United despite a roaring return to footballing action after the rape saga which grounded his career for 18 months.
With the English winger completing a £30m move to Màrseille and set for a fresh chapter in the French top flight, Leny Yoro, moved in the opposite direction, joining Manchester United from Lille. Now, it appears the French center-back has settled fast for the next exciting challenge at Manchester United.
According to The Sun, he has purchased Mason Greenwood’s £2m-worth property in Cheshire. The property, reportedly located a few miles away from Manchester United training base at Carrington, is a comfy living space for footballers.

Further details on the property reveal it has a luxuriously decorated living room with a spa. There is a cinema, kitchen, and many reception rooms. It was made available for rent at the rate of £14,000 every month.
After nearing the completion of his £52m move to Manchester United, Yoro’s agent had reportedly scouted for a befitting luxury residence for the youngster. They bumped into the multiple-storey building vacated by the ex-Man United star.

Yoro was first rumored to be favouring a move to Real Madrid, who were also interested in the player. However, United overtook the La Liga and European champions to reach an agreement with Lille for the player.
Notably, the Red Devils first reached an agreement with Lille for Yoro before agreeing personal terms with the player due to the youngster’s previous decision to wait for advances by Real Madrid. He finally settled for United, agreeing on a long-term deal with a lucrative wage offer.
Yoro has impressed on his first match for the club, playing a crucial role in the defence in a 2-0 pre-season friendly win over Rangers, and is expected to play an integral role in Erik ten Hag’s campaign with Man United next season.

According to reports, United have offered the player a staggering £12m salary per year with his weekly wage estimated at £145,000. He has signed a five-year contract till 2029, including a one-year extension option.
