Manchester United has issued a statement in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Interview with Piers Morgan.
The club “will assess its response after the complete facts have been determined,” according to their statement.
On Sunday night, segments of Ronaldo’s interview with Morgan were broadcast. The 37-year-old was heard screaming that Ten Hag and the United executives had “betrayed him” and were trying to get him out of the club.
After the Red Devils defeated Fulham on Sunday by a score of 2-1, the club has stated that they are focusing on “preparing for the second half of the season and extending their momentum.”
The Monday afternoon press release stated: “‘Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo.”
