His emergence as the Vice President of the Arab country is coming just a year after his brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed emerged as the President of the country.

Before Shiekh Mansour assumed the role of the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, he previously served as the Crown Prince.

Now, the position of the Crown Prince has been left vacant and UAE’s media outlets are nosing around on who may likely succeed the 52-year-old.

    Sheikh Mansour’s Manchester City Ownership

In 2008, Sheikh Mansour bought Manchester City for £265 million from former owner Thaksin Shinawatra. He has transformed the fortunes of the club by spending heavily on top signings and managers that have turned the Etihad club into a Premier League giant.

From 2008 when Mansour took over as the owner of the club, Manchester City has won six Premier League titles, including the FA Cup and EFL Cup. However, they have failed to translate their domestic dominance into European success.

They are yet to win the Champions League but have made it to the final once in 2021 when they lost to domestic rivals, Chelsea.

Nevertheless, the club has shown incredible progress in the last 15 years under the ownership of Sheikh Mansour.
