    Manchester City and Chelsea of the English Premier League are currently top of the list of the most Valuable squad in the world.

    Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City still topped the list despite the massive spending by rival team Chelsea. Recall that the Blues spent over $350 million in the January transfer window alone.

    The list of the biggest spenders in the January transfer window was dominated mostly by teams in the Premier League and was led by Chelsea.

    Chelsea signed Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoît Badiashile, Andrey Dantos, David Datro Fofana, and loanee João Félix, while Arsenal signed Leandro Trossard from Brighton amongst others.

    The Etihad outfit were talk of the town when they signed Erling Haaland from Dortmund for 60 Million and also added Manuel Akanji as well as Kalvin Philips.

    Chelsea – €1.02BN

    English teams collectively spent a record £815 million ($1 billion) in the January transfer window and none other than Chelsea, generated approximately 37% of that total alone.

    Jamal Musiala (+€10m to €110m) and Josip Stanisic (+€4m to €12m) were not affected by this decrease in market value as they are still much valuable in the market.

    Arsenal – €890M

    Arsenal Captain, Martin Ødegaard is having the season of his life and is a very instrumental player in the attacking midfield of the Gunners, rising from €60m to €80m in value.

    Bukayo Saka is now the most valuable English player alongside Jude Bellingham of Dortmund and Phil Foden of Man City.

    Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are fifth on our list as their squad is currently worth about €883M.
