Manchester United want to complete the deal before the end of the season

And the club intends to finalize the deal to acquire the Tottenham Hotspur attacker before the expiration of the campaign.

Manchester United have admired Harry Kane for a long time and it looks like it is a suitable time for the club to push for his signature due to the issues the club is facing upfront after letting go of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2022.

Based on reports circulating in England, It is said that the Red Army are optimistic that they would sign Kane this summer if Tottenham Hotspur do not make it to the top 4 and subsequently the UEFA Champions League.

Daniel Levy’s side have pegged their asking price for their star asset at £100 million but Manchester United hope that Spurs would agree a bid less than that amount.

The Old Trafford club have authorized an £80 million offer for Kane who is presumed to be the club’s important transfer target for next summer.

It is believed that Ten Hag has beseeched the hierarchy of Manchester United to doll out the cash because he is yearning to acquire the striker who he believes can change the English heavyweights into serious title contenders.

And accordingly, Ten Hag wants to begin negotiations for the Englishman quickly. Harry Kane is admired by many of the big teams in Europe including Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea.

However, the desired team that the English captain would want to join next is Manchester United. His present deal with the Lilywhites ends in 2024 and he would need to make a decision on his career fast.

Harry Kane has not won any trophy in his career despite achieving several individual strides at club and national level.

The Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, Daniel Levy, wants the Englishman to remain at the club but he knows he must make a quality managerial appointment that can convince Kane of the club’s ability to battle for a trophy.

The all-time top scorer for England stated in January that there has “not been much talking” with his current club over a new deal but he was “sure there will be conversations over the coming months”.

Defending Champions of the Premier League, Manchester City, are not interested any longer to land Harry Kane having failed to sign the forward in 2021.

In 2021, Tottenham Hotspur pegged the asking price for the England captain to a staggering £150 million which led to City moving away from making any further push for the attacker.

Now Daniel Levy is expected to receive an amount lesser than that of 2021 or he faces the possibility of losing Kane for free in 2024.

Harry Kane has scored 271 goals in 425 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur and he is the club all-time top scorer.

For the Three Lions of England he has scored 55 goals in 82 appearances and he recently broke the record of Wayne Rooney to become the nation’s all-time top scorer.
