Major League Soccer (MLS) has been filled with jaw-dropping actions today, including classic results and astonishing scorelines.

Inter Miami 6-2 New York Red Bulls

Inter Miami was astonishing against the New York Red Bulls, with Lionel Messi pulling all the strings and delineating brilliance.

The Red Bulls went ahead in the 30th minute through Dante Vanzeir, however, Matias Rojas equalized beautifully for the home side, following an assist from Lionel Messi.

Messi then went on to clinically score the second for the Herons, after he was put through on goal by Luis Suarez.

The 3rd of the evening came following an intricate passing move involving Rojas and Lionel Messi, with the former finishing off a great pass laid onto his path by the ex-Barcelona man.

Luis Suarez then turned up the heat in the second period, scoring sublime goals in the 69th, 75th and 81st minute.

Inter Miami continue their astonishing display in the Eastern Conference, as they remain at the summit of the log with 24 points from 12 matches, 3 points better than 2nd-placed FC Cincinnati.

Charlotte FC 2-0 Portland Timbers 

Charlotte FC powered themselves through to a 2 goals to nothing victory, courtesy of goals from Nikola Petkovic, who was assisted by Nathan Byrne in the 54th minute, and Enzo Copetti in the 1st minute of added time in the second period.

Nashville SC 4-1 CF Montreal

Goals splash in Nashville as the hosts secured a breathtaking win over the visitors from Montreal.

Sam Surridge scored a hat-trick in the affair, scoring in the 12th, 47th, and 82nd minute, with a goal by Zimmerman being the other goal netted by Nashville in the game.

Walker Zimmerman also penned his name on the score sheet in the opposite direction, scoring an unfortunate own goal in the 65th minute.

Orlando City 0-1 FC Cincinnati

In what was a highly competitive game in Florida, Luciano Acosta’s goal in the opening minute for FC Cincinnati proved vital for the away side.

Acosta was assisted by former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United man DeAndre Yedlin.

San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 Los Angeles FC

Despite bossing the game for many spells, Los Angeles FC fell to a defeat in California against San Jose Earthquakes.

Rodrigues scored the opener for the home side in the 5th minute, after he was set up by Cristian Espinoza.

Amahl Pellegrino made it 2 in the 55th minute, with Espinoza also being the provider for the goal.

One minute before the hour mark, an own goal from Denis Bouanga sealed the win for the home side, before Cristian Olivera scored the consolation goal for Los Angeles FC in the 69th minute.

Toronto FC 3-1 FC Dallas

In Toronto, Federico Bernardeschi inspired the home side to a thrilling win over FC Dallas.

The Italian scored in the 3rd minute of added time in the opening half, after seeing his attempt via a penalty being saved by Dallas’ goalie Maarten Paes.

Bernardeschi went on to grab his second in the 52nd minute, and he was ably assisted by Jonathan Osorio.

Ex-Newcastle United midfielder Matthew Longstaff clinched the win for Toronto FC with a scorching goal after he was set up by brace scorer Federico Bernardeschi.

FC Dallas pulled one back late on in the 87th minute through Sam Junqua, but the goal was pretty much to soften the embarrassment, as there was no way back for the visitors in the matchday 12 Major League Soccer clash.
