By now, it’s no secret that United have been under intense scrutiny. Fans have taken their frustration out on Woodward a couple of weeks ago when they attacked his home. With that being said, United have invested heavily in the Solskjaer project and want the popular Norwegian to turn things around.

But things seem not to be going according to the United’s boss plan, as fans continue to campaign #OleOut movement on social media. With the signing of Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo, hopefully this may help restore faith in the owners and Ole and fans would ease up a bit.

Defender, Luke Shaw, has now appealed to Manchester United supporters and has made one request. Shaw, ask that fans would continue to support the players during their Premier League clash with Wolves which comes up on Saturday.

The player made this statement, after it was revealed that fans have organized a “walk-out” during the 68th minute of the game when they face Wolves at Old Trafford. The protest is said to be against the management of the Club by the owners, the Glazer family and their executive chairman, Ed Woodward.

With United under much pressure, Shaw believes the support of fans is much needed if they are going to aim for a win that will help boost their chance of finishing in the top four.

Speaking on the matter to the press, Shaw said, “We understand the way they’re feeling with current results and the performances that we’ve sometimes given. But we know they’ll always be there at the end to support us. We know they’ll never stop supporting us and we all appreciate it.

Hopefully they can keep giving us support and get behind us in a massive game against Wolves.”

“It’s understandable. Fans have their say, pundits have their say, but we know when we’ve not been good enough” he added.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also chimed in to give his thought about the suppose walk-out and also urge supporters to get behind the team. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Ole said, “Of course we want to see our fans being behind the team and the players. The players have been backed and the fans have been fantastic. We have a young team, there will be ups and downs, so they will grow with their support. For me, the fans have been backing us and I’m sure they will back the team again. They’re important for us and it’s an important game for us.”

United are looking to turn back to their winning ways as they currently sit fifth on the Premiere League table with 34 points. United are currently 7 points behind fourth place Chelsea and 36 points behind first place Liverpool.
