Teenage wonderkid Luka Vuskovic has joined London side Tottenham Hotspur despite massive interest from Liverpool.
Tottenham made this announcement on their official website stating that an agreement has been reached with the defender.
Transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano on his social media page also confirmed the signing and revealed that the fee was around £12m.
He also revealed that Liverpool had been monitoring the player but it was Tottenham that won the bid to land the player’s signature.
Luka Vuskovic reportedly chose Tottenham ahead of teams like PSG and Manchester City who also wanted the player.
The player is regarded as one of the best prospects in all of Europe, and Liverpool losing out to Tottenham for Vuskovic will sting for the Reds.
The London team have enjoyed a beautiful start to the season under Postecoglou despite them drawing Arsenal last weekend.
Beating Liverpool to sign Luka Vuskovic also boosts the morale and confidence of the fans as the defender will be a long-term asset.
Luka Vuskovic will not start immediately for Spurs but that still doesn’t sit well with Liverpool who have failed to sign the player.
Speaking on signing the Defender, Spurs said: “We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement for Luka Vuskovic to join the Club in 2025 from Hajduk Split 🤍”
