Bayern Munich defender, Lucas Hernandez could spend six months in prison for being with his wife, Amelia Ossa Llorente against a Spanish court order.

The France international and his wife got a restraining order in 2017. During that period, Lucas Hernandez was playing for Atlético Madrid.

They got into the bad books of the court when Llorente was rushed to a hospital in Spain with minor injuries from a fight she and the French footballer had.

The two lovers were summoned to appear in court even though they didn’t press charges against each other. It was a case between them and public prosecutors.

During the court hearing, it was established that Lucas Hernandez beat up Llorente, while she damaged some of the property at their home.

Hence, the court convicted Lucas Hernandez of domestic violence and sentenced him to 31 days of community service. While Llorente was convicted of violent conduct and was also given the same punishment.

In addition to that, they were ordered not to contact themselves again but Lucas Hernandez was arrested in 2019 for breaching the restraining order.

This time around, the court gave the 25-year-old football star a 6-month suspended sentence and was ordered not to contact Llorente for six months. He appealed against the judgment but lost the appeal.

Four months after the judgment, Hernandez was arrested at a Madrid airport when he and Llorente were returning from a holiday. At this point, they were officially married.

Llorente was not arrested because the court was not able to serve her with the restraining order before they were seen together. This made her not guilty of breaching the order.

He is expected to appear before the court on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. But ahead of the court appearance, the football star has filed an appeal against his 6-month prison sentence.
