Liverpool star Naiby Keita mourns victims of Guinea bus crash

    Liverpool central midfielder, Naiby Keita has joined other players and football lovers to mourn the death of some players and crew of second division Etoile de Guinee who were involved in a fatal traffic accident on Thursday. According to the reports, players and crew members of the Etoile de Guinee second division were traveling play their debut game for the season. They were 250 km into the journey of 650 km when their vehicle ran into a tree.

    The prior report revealed that about nine persons lost their lives while no fewer than 17 other persons suffered different degrees of injuries.

    The Liverpool star man being the captain of the Guinea national team joined other compatriots to mourn the death of his countrymen and fellow sportsmen. He took to his official social media handles to pay a tribute to the dead sportsmen, he wrote; “My sincere condolences to the Etoile de Guinee team and to Guinean football, may their souls rest in peace,”

    Meanwhile, it was reported that Guinea Football Federation has announced plans for a day of mourning to honor the dead sports men. This was revealed by the President of Guinea Football Federation, Antonio Souare.

    In the other news, Naiby Keita is posed to be on startup line against Bournemouth today. The Guinean man missed Liverpool’s last match against Watford which put an abrupt end to the unbeaten spell of the Red club. Liverpool has surely enjoyed their fair share of victory and champion in the Premier League games with over 28 games played so far, 26 wins, one draw and one loss. The last time the team Drew was against Manchester United.

    They turned themselves into a compelling force to reckon with in Europe with their unbeaten status until Watford dealt with the Premier League giant club last weekend. We sincerely hope to see their performance against Bournemouth in a few hour’s time.
