Before the match, Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp expressed how disheartening it was for such a terrible disaster to have happened to a tender innocent girl.

The German said: “Nine years old? I cannot comprehend it and the more I think about it, the more difficult it becomes to understand.

“I would like to pass on the sympathies of everyone at Liverpool FC to Olivia’s family.”

Before the start of the Liverpool vs Bournemouth match on Saturday, the Anfield stadium announcer urged anyone who has any information about the murders of Olivia, 9; Ashley Dale, 28, and Sam Rimmer, 22, to inform the cops.

The horror took place at the door of the little girl’s home in Liverpool during a bloodbath between gang rivals.

Olivia Pratt-Korbel was with her mother, Cheryl Korbel, who struggled with two men while protecting her daughter, Olivia.

One of the armed men fired a bullet intended to kill a 35-year-old man Joseph Nee but the bullet hit Cheryl’s wrist and subsequently pierced through Olivia’s chest.

Joseph Nee, a 35-year-old drug dealer, lives close to Olivia’s home. The 35-year-old was part of a gang that led cops on a 125mph chase through Cheshire and Merseyside.

He admitted to two counts of burglary, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving while his license was seized.

In an attempt to nab the man who shot and murdered Olivia, a 36-year-old man from the Huyton area was arrested on suspicion of Olivia’s murder on Thursday, August 25, 2022, on two counts of attempted murder. He was also arrested as part of an operation involving armed officers.

The suspect was arrested for Olivia’s murder, the attempted murder of her mum Cheryl, 46, who was struck in the wrist, and drug dealer Joseph Nee, 35, who rushed into Olivia’s home after being shot at.

The bloodbath happened on Monday, August 22, 2022, when Joseph Nee barged into Olivia’s home to escape a gunman who shot at him and a second male on the street.

Cheryl Korbel, Olivia’s mum appeared to have opened the front door to see the cause of the commotion happening in her place when Nee forced himself inside her house.

The shooter then followed Nee and began spraying Olivia’s home with bullets which one of it hit Cheryl’s wrist first before Olivia, who was standing behind her mother.

Unfortunately, Olivia didn’t survive the hit and was declared dead at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool while her mother was treated for a gunshot wound to the wrist.

While nine-year-old Olivia was battling for life, Joseph Nee’s friends; suspected to be fellow gang members, picked him up in a black Audi Q3 car and sped off to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Merseyside’s Police have released an image of the black Audi Q3 car used to move injured Nee to hospital and appealed to the people to provide them any information they have concerning the occupants of the vehicle.

Merseyside’s Detective Superintendent Mark Baker said: “Although we have arrested in connection with the horrific murder of Olivia, I want to make it completely clear that we need any information about this vehicle or the wider investigation as much as ever.

“Whatever information you have, and whether you are sure that it is the same vehicle or not, pass it on and we will assess its importance.”

Anyone with information is asked to send a message to MerPolCC or contact CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111.
