The Premier League complete fixtures has been released last month and Liverpool will travel to London to play away to newly-promoted Fulham in their first game of the season.
The game against Fulham will make it the fourth season in a row where Liverpool started the campaign against a team that joined from the championship and they’re the first team in English Premier League history to ever do that.
The Reds will welcome Crystal Palace at home the next weekend before making a trip to Old Trafford to face Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United in game week three. Jurgen Klopp and his boys will be fighting to take the title away from Manchester City after losing it last season with a point.
Liverpool had hopes of winning the quadruple in the 2021-2022 season but ended with just the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. The club fought hard to the Premier League final day and made it to the UEFA Champions League final which they lost 1-0 against Real Madrid.
Liverpool will face the defending champions Manchester City in their first match at Anfield on the weekend of October 15, one week after playing Arsenal. The rematch will take place at the Etihad at the beginning of April. The Merseyside derbies against Everton are scheduled for the weekends of September 3 and February 11.
Liverpool 2022-23 season will continue as they host Man United at Anfield in early March. Liverpool’s last game before the World Cup break will be at home against Southampton, before resuming their campaign against Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa on December 26.
The team has released all their tickets and kits for the 2022-23 season and they can be purchased from the club’s official website. Sky Sports and BT Sport will also stream some of their games next season.
