However, it appears that the injury sustained by Messi isn’t a serious one, as manager Tata Martino maintained that all is well with Lionel Messi.
Martino expressed that he didn’t witness what happened, but he believes that nothing happened.
He said: “I didn’t see exactly what happened.
“But I imagine that if it had been something serious they would all been scandalized.
“And since they were all well, I think nothing happened.”
Lionel Messi signed for Inter Miami on a free transfer, after his contract with Paris Saint Germain expired at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Messi has scored in every game he has played in America, scoring a goal against Cruz Azul, before scoring a brace against Atlanta United.
The 36-year-old also scored a brace against Orlando City and FC Dallas, before netting a goal against Charlotte FC.
