Cristiano Ronaldo was not with the team when Juventus faced Barcelona in the Champions League match that took place earlier today. Ronaldo tested positive for Coronavirus while with the Portugal National team and he is been having a tough time shaking off the disease since then.

Although Cristiano Ronaldo is considered an asymptomatic Covid-19 career, he’s still couldn’t join the team because he has not tested negative for coronavirus. Juventus players including Cristiano must test negative for coronavirus 24 hours before today’s Champions League match before they are allowed to play. However, Ronaldo’s test came back positive again.
As result, he was disallowed from playing for Juventus until further notice. Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Ansu Fati, and Ousmane Dembele were too much for Juventus to contain, luckily Juventus managed to not lose by a lot. The match ended 2 – 0, Barcelona had multiple chances of scoring more than two goals but they couldn’t convert most of the goal-scoring chances they had. Check out the match highlights above.
