After Lionel Messi scored two goals which helped Paris Saint Germain to beat Club Brugge 4-1 in a UEFA Champions League group stage game on Tuesday, December 7, the 34-year-old Argentine football icon spent part of his Wednesday at home with his family.

A video that surfaced on the internet on Wednesday night showed Lionel Messi and his three sons, Thiago (9), Mateo (6), and Ciro (3) engaging in a football match in their living room in Paris, France. Antonela, Messi’s wife, and the boys’ mother filmed the moment.

In the video, the former FC Barcelona talisman was in control of the ball while his youngest son tried to intercept the ball from him all to no avail.

Lionel Messi continued to run around with the ball while Ciro continued to chase after him until the Argentine football icon chipped the ball over to his son, Mateo who was in goal.

Afterward, Mateo and Ciro faced each other while Lionel Messi replaced Mateo in goal.

Mateo who is a member of PSG’s youth system alongside Messi’s eldest son Thiago tried to score his father but Messi was able to stop the ball from going through.

Afterward, the play continued but this time around, Mateo gave his younger brother a hard tackle that landed him on the ground.

Even though Ciro fell with pain, Mateo acted very professionally about it by showing no sympathy. After spending some moments on the ground, Ciro stood up and left the playground for Thiago and Mateo.

Mateo continued to push with the ball until he was able to go past Thiago and aimed a shot at Lionel Messi which the football icon could not stop, hence, Mateo recorded a goal.

While the whole action was happening on the play ground, the giggling of Lionel Messi’s wife Antonela could be heard in the background as she filmed the action.
