Lillian Thuram attempted to playfully slap his son Marcus of Inter Milan, when he joined fans and teammates by jumping for a chant intended to mock Juventus.

The funny and awkward incident occurred during Inter Milan’s title celebrations at San Siro on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

The anti-Juventus chant was the classic “Chi non salta è juventino” – which means “Who doesn’t jump supports Juventus”.

Marcus Thuram was seen jumping on the Giuseppe Meazza turf, and after Lillian saw his son jumping, he approached him and attempted to jokingly slap him.

Lillian Thuram donned an Inter Milan shirt on Sunday, May 19, 2024, but he wore the jersey backward with his son’s jersey number “9” boldly printed on it.

Marcus Thuram’s father, Lillian, played for Juventus during his stellar playing career, which saw him accentuate brilliance alongside winning many laurels.
