    Bukayo Saka scored the winning goal for the third time in three matches after his first half goal against Leeds United. Saka first half goal was enough to move Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table.

    Patrick Bamford missed a second-half penalty. In addition, Gabriel was sent off in the second half, and a second penalty was awarded. It was overturned after a good review by the referee on the VAR monitor, allowing the visiting team to win.

    A power outage on the field at the beginning of the game made it extremely difficult for the referee to communicate with the VAR. Hence, there was a 40-minute break in the game between Leeds United and Arsenal due to the power cut.

    The Gunners faced Leeds United, therefore it was an unusual match for them. Arsenal labored throughout the game, and Rodrigo’s error resulted to Bukayo Saka goal.

    Leeds manager Jesse Marsch, who was not pleased with his team’s performance, quickly sent in English striker Bamford in the second half.

    He performs exceptionally well and throughout the game caused the Arsenal defense to quake.

    Following William Saliba’s errant touch, the Leeds striker had a wonderful opportunity to score, but Ramsdale came out to narrow off the angle and make a chest save.

    Bamford having a close-range goal controversially disallowed for offside for pushing Gabriel, the striker missed his subsequent penalty after William Saliba handled the ball.

    Aaron Ramsdale who was the reason why Arsenal won the match made a terrific save in the 20th minutes to keep away a close-range shot from Pascal Struijk after a goalmouth scramble.

    Sinisterra had previously hit the side-netting with a long-range shot.

    Before the tumultuous and drawn-out end, Crysencio Summerville, who was brought on, blazed an opportunity over in the 89th minute.

    When Bamford and Gabriel fought, the latter fell to the ground and appeared to kick the Leeds attacker in the face.

    With 65% of the possession in the first half and four shots on goal against Leeds United, Arsenal outperformed their opponent.

    Leeds United enjoyed 61% of the ball possession in the second half while Arsenal only had 39%, firing 16 shots, four of which were on target.

    Leeds United has now lost six straight games (2 Draw and 4 loses). For the first time ever, Leeds United lost twice in a row after losing to Crystal Palace on October 12, 2022.

    Bukayo Saka becomes the first player under Mikel Arteta to contribute to 50 goals. The gifted winger has already contributed 24 assists and 26 goals to the team.

    Arsenal won nine of ten games for the first time in 136 years this season. They are improving and appearing to be title contenders this year.

    Arsenal match against Manchester City that was suppose to take place this weekend have been postponed.

    Arsenal will welcome PSV at Emirates for Europa League on October 16, 2022. A win will potentially make Arsenal qualify as the group winner.
