He started his youth career with Philadelphia Union, playing in the club’s academy from 2015 to 2018 before making his senior club appearance for Bethlehem Steel FC from 2017 to 2018.

He made 21 appearances for the club, scoring 1 goal before joining Philadelphia Union main team in 2019.

At Philadelphia Union, Brenden Aaronson made 51 appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals.

It was his last club before he moved to Europe where he played for RB Salzburg from 2021 to 2022, making 32 appearances and scoring a goal.

Brenden Aaronson joined Leeds United last summer. The Premier League club announced they had broker a deal with Salzburg to sign the young midfielder on a five-year deal that will see him stay at the club until 2027.

In 2020, he made his first appearance for USA senior men’s football team in a 1-0 win over Costa Rica. He was previously called up for the senior national team in 2019 but was not featured until his second called-up a year later.

He made USA national team World Cup squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and was an integral part of Gregg Berhalter’s squad until they were knocked out in round 16.
