Manchester United have decided to put their transfer market operations for this summer on hold after a board meeting held earlier in the week. The club reportedly decided to go this route because they now intend to use whatever they earn from qualifying for Champions League to execute their transfer needs this summer. Manchester City has bid €20 million upfront and €10 in add-ons for the signature of 20-year-old Valencia and Spanish winger Ferran Torres. But the Spanish club has reportedly rejected the bid. The Premier League club is reportedly planning to improve the bid to €30 million upfront and €10 in add-ons.

Amid unconfirmed speculations related to the transfer of 21-year-old Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea, 24-year-old Leroy Sane who just left Manchester City for Bayern Munich this summer confirmed that the move has gone beyond speculations.
While he was being unveiled as Bayern Munich new recruit, Sane told reporters that: “Two Germans with Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in one year, that’s quite a coup for Chelsea. There’s no question that Germany has very good youth development.”
