United are also said to be pursuing a move for Nice center-back Jean-Clair Tadibo. The 24-year-old is reportedly primed by United among possible defensive picks this summer. It is believed the INEOS chief’s influence could play a big role in Man United’s chances of bringing Tadibo to Old Trafford.

Also, in Manchester United’s defensive options is Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt, 24. De Ligt has been linked to a summer exit from Bayern Munich following a change of hands in the Bavarians’ dugout.

Chelsea have opened talks with Crystal Palace for Michael Olise. The Blues are the third club to contact the Eagles for the services of the youngster after Newcastle United and Bayern Munich have also indicated interest in the 22-year-old.

Chelsea could also lose Noni Madueke this summer. Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing a move for the player to strengthen their squad ahead of the next campaign.
