Tragedy strikes the family of Barcelona football star Lamine Yamal as his father, Mounir Nasraoui, was reportedly stabbed multiple times in a car park near Barcelona.
The attack took place in the town of Mataro on Wednesday evening, August 14, leaving Nasraoui in a serious condition and in need of immediate medical attention.
According to reports from La Vanguardia, “Nasraoui was left in a critical condition after being stabbed and was transported to Can Ruti hospital in Badalona by ambulance.”
Thankfully, he is now believed to be stable but remains under observation at the Can Ruti hospital.

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene and rushed Nasraoui to the hospital for treatment according to several reports from Spain.
Spanish outlet, Relevo has reported that while Nasraoui remains in hospital, he is ‘out of danger’.
However, there were several witnesses to the horrific incident, according to the Sun.
Furthermore, an investigation has been launched by police in Mataro following the assault and three individuals have been arrested already according to local reports.

In July, Spain emerged victorious at the European Championship with Yamal playing a key role on the winning team.
