    The X (formerly known as Twitter) account of Kylian Mbappe was hacked on Thursday, August 29, 2024, and a string of strange posts were sent out on it.

    Bizarre Posts On The Twitter Account Of Kylian Mbappe After It Was Hacked

    Netizens quickly noticed the bizarre posts, with the account first promoting a cryptocurrency called ‘$MBAPPE’ with claims that it had reached 90,000 sales.

    The X account of Kylian Mbappe also shared several provocative messages, including a tease about joining Manchester United in 2028.

    Hacker Called Cristiano Ronaldo “Greatest football player of all time”, Insults Lionel Messi

    Controversially, it also waded in on the long-standing rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, with that account labeling the former as “the greatest football player of all time.”, while also insulting the latter.

    The tweets, which have since been deleted, generated lots of interaction across the football community and evoked widespread controversy.

    The hack resulted in Mbappe’s account sharing multiple posts centered around Manchester United, including a declaration that “Manchester is Red” and even lauding a popular United fan account @UTDTrey, as “the best account on ft (football Twitter).”

    Outrageously, when a user replied whether Kylian Mbappe would be interested in a move to London, the hacked account wrote, “London is s*** bro.”

    Based on reports from British tabloid Mirror, the launch of the “MBAPPE” token also dominated social media for a brief period.

    The market value of the token skyrocketed to tens of millions within minutes before abruptly crashing back to zero.

    Moreover, there were subsequent criticisms heaped on the PR team of Mbappe, with several users bashing their inability to nip the issue in the bud timely.

    Kylian Mbappe At Real Madrid

    Mbappe netted on his competitive debut for Real Madrid on August 14, 2024, as he helped them win the UEFA Super Cup title.

    The Frenchman is yet to score his first league goal for the club after two matches thus far in La Liga and that has made some fans worried.

    However, manager Carlo Ancelotti isn’t perturbed over Kylian Mbappe not scoring in Los Blancos’ first two league matches in the 2024/25 season, as he shared that the ex-Monaco man is happy at the club.

    Speaking with reporters after their clash against Real Valladolid, the Italian tactician said:
