Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the first half, but he was also at the center of some controversy because of an ugly gesture he made at an opponent at halftime.

The player was walking in for the first time, looking happy and waving to the group; it looked as if something had changed for the player. He grabbed his private part while looking at the Auxerre players after the score was 1-0.

The Auxerre backup goalkeeper Donovan Leon was standing closest to Mbappe, though it was unclear who the Frenchman was speaking to or making the gesture to.

The player was trying everything possible to mock the Auxerre players. The gesture shows he doesn’t respect his opponents and that could have led to brutal fight between them.

Kylian Mbappe scored in the 11th minute of the match against Auxerre after receiving the ball from Nuno Mendez.

Auxerre’s players could not clear their line as the ball ended up on Lionel Messi’s legs, who lifted the ball to Mendez who then sent the pass to Mbappe.

In the 51st minute, Mendez created the second goal after he crossed the ball to Carlos Soler, who found it easy to put the ball past the goalkeeper, and no Auxerre defenders were able to stop him.

Carlos Soler assisted Acraf Hakimi on PSG’s third goal in the 57th minute of the second half. The French giant punished Auxerre on the counter, and they pushed a lot of players forward.

In the 61st minute, Soler was substituted for Renato Sanchez. Messi was substituted in the 75th minute for Sarabia; it was a tactical change for Christopher Gailter, the manager of PSG.

The manager also brought out Neymar, a midfielder, for Hugo Ekitike, a striker, to attack Auxerre more. The last substitution of the match was Sergio Ramos for Presnel Kimpembe in the 75th minute.

Sanchez scored in the 81st minute after receiving the ball from Ekitike. His first attempt is kept out by a strong hand from Costil, who then did well to push it out of Ekitike’s feet to stop him from having a shot.

Sanchez’s second attempt was on target, but it went past the goalkeeper. Ekitike scored his final goal against Auxerre in the 84th minute to end the miseries of Auxerre.
